Adapting on the Fly

I grew up in Western Colorado and while I primarily played team sports growing up I have developed a passion for the challenges posed by more individualized activities, mainly flyfishing and golfing. While remaining a team player, I have a passion for taking on challenges that solely rely on my individual efforts for success. This requires me to take on new challenges head-on, analyze situations, and adapt to those situations as necessary. Both flyfishing and golfing require focus, persistence, and adaptation, which when combined together result in rewarding outcomes. I approach my cases with the same mindset. Tackling new challenges head-on and adapting to changing circumstances, allows me to provide my clients with rewarding outcomes at the end of the litigation process.

Edward graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Law. He then attended the Pennsylvania State University – Dickinson College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor. After graduation Edward worked in private practice on the Western Slope, representing clients primarily in family and business law matters.

Prior to joining Colorado Legal Group, Edward exclusively practiced family law at a boutique Denver-based family law firm. Edward has gained significant experience in a wide variety of family law issues including complex, high asset divorce cases, child custody cases, and premarital and separation agreements. Edward’s understanding of both the legal complexities of divorce and family law cases as well as the personal, emotional burden that clients face makes him a strong advocate for his clients and adept at assisting clients navigate through the litigation process.

Edward believes in taking a holistic approach to his cases and always seeks to find common ground for agreements in his client’s cases. While Edward is skilled in handling highly contested matters in the courtroom, he is equally skilled at negotiating and helping clients in reaching amicable resolutions to their cases outside of the courtroom.
