Thinking Outside of the Box

Whenever I get the chance, enjoying nature and backpacking with my wife is one of my favorite things to do. Backpacking is truly a unique experience. The feeling that you can sustain life with only the contents in your backpack, is empowering. Camping in the wilderness allows me to enjoy nature in longer stretches, reset, and find tranquility, which in turn helps me with my cases. Family law cases can be intense and being able to reset allows me to approach them calmly and strategically, so I can relieve my clients of some stress and provide them with results.

Samer is a graduate of West Virginia University and West Virginia University College of Law. After graduation, Samer worked for the West Virginia Public defenders’ office. Samer then moved to Denver and practiced family law at a Denver firm for several years before transitioning to Colorado Legal Group.

Samer handles a full range of family law issues, including complex dissolution of marriage, child support, child custody, and pre and post-nuptial agreements.

Samer believes in a client-centric approach to practicing law. He uses his psychology background to make family law issues collaborative rather than adversarial. However, when a settlement cannot be reached, Samer stands ready to zealously advocate for his clients in the courtroom. Samer feels passionate about volunteer/pro-bono work and routinely volunteers his time at MVL’s Family Law Court Program making him a strong advocate for divorce & family law clients.
